Do you want to celebrate your birthday party in the best way that you have ever made?? Do you also want yourself to be treated as a child that is favorite of Mickey mouse? Make a Mickey

  • Create your own Mickey Mouse heads to decorate the tables, by taking two small plastic foam balls and one larger plastic foam ball and painting them whatever color you would like. Using a sharp knife, gently cut a small wedge off of the bottom of two smaller balls and cut the bottom off of a larger ball. Stick a toothpick on each side of the large ball, approximately where ears would be. Slide the smaller balls onto the toothpicks to create the Mickey Mouse icon. These table decorations can then be used as part of a centerpiece, as place card holders or to label what food is in different dishes.

    Make a Glove

Another original way to decorate for your Mickey Mouse party is to create replicas of his iconic white-gloved hands. Using a sturdy piece of foam board, carefully trace the shape of the glove. Use a regular knife, or heat knife if you have one available, to cut the shape out, and add the details. Go over the edges and the details of the glove with black marker or paint, and then affix the glove cutouts to an inexpensive napkin holder or small box, which you can then use for display and to hold plastic forks, spoons and knives.

    Color Palette

Although you can go with any color you wish, a classic Mickey Mouse theme will be heavy on red, white, black and sunny yellow. Stick with basic solid colors, and you will be able to neatly pull your party room together in no time. If you will have people sitting at tables, cover the tables with red table cloths, to which you have added yellow circles that are made to look like buttons. Attach these in pairs at each place setting, in order to recall the look and feel of Mickey's famous shorts.

    A Mickey Cake

Even a first-time cake decorator can successfully make a Mickey Mouse cake. Simply bake one large round cake and two smaller round cakes. Cut a rounded wedge off of the bottom of each of the small cakes, and nestle them against the sides of the larger cake, to create ears. Ice the whole cake in a single color frosting and you have a perfect Mickey cake.
